In Memory

Norman Miller

Norman Miller

Norman P. Miller passed away suddenly on February 14, 2015 at the age of 69. Although his life was cut short, he always lived life to the fullest and touched many lives along the way. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his strength and vigor and his big welcoming smile. Norm, born and raised in Edmonds, WA, served in the U.S. Navy as a medic, and was a family man raising 8 children. He loved the outdoors, cars and motorcycles, and was adventurous, but most of all he was a loving and caring man.

Norm is the son to Andrew & Vivian Miller and has a sister Sandy Loach and brother Mike Miller. He is survived by his present wife Sandy Welch, his children Norm Miller II and Renee Jeffries from his first wife, Norma Miller. His step-children Jesse, David, Esther, Rebecca, Andrea and Marcel Vodegel from his second marriage to Margaretha Miller who preceded him in death. He also leaves his grandchildren of Dylan and Dulcinea Hatch, Skye Jeffries, Thomas Welch, Kristina Kiser, Antone Parente, Dalton, Chanelle, David, and Brittney Vodegel, Candace and Cassandra Miller.

The description of Norman is pretty much as I remember him. When passing in the corridors he always had a smile, a pleasant "Hi.". Although he passed away at a relatively early age, the description of Norm's family, his role as a bonus dad (my wife, a "bonus mom," prefers that tag), indicates Norm had a full life, probably more than a few days that seemed like months (I speak from experience), but those times are often most memorable. In that regard, Norman will be held in fond memory by many, both family and friends.
